What We Need From You
Please
send the following information to Brad or John as soon as you can to
help us to better prepare for your stay in Taiwan:
1. A scan
of your passport information and photo page (email to John Wang)
2.
Food requirements/restrictions/allergies, etc.
3. Medical
issues
4. Your contact information before your trip to Taiwan (we
must be able to contact you to send you any last minute information).
Please send both an email address and a phone number.
5. An
emergency contact name and phone number for the time while you are in
Taiwan.
6. Flight itinerary (once you have it).
Suggested Reading
Required reading for the course will be given to you before we leave; however, if you are interested in learning more about the area, its history, and some of the issues that will come up during the course, below are a couple of books that would make for good reading on the flight:
1. The China Price: The True Cost of Chinese Competitive Advantage by Alexandra Harney.
2. Far From Formosa: The Island, its People and Missions by George Leslie Mackay and J. A. Macdonald.
